Chatham Bars Inn, Cape Cod
Chatham Bars Inn is located in Chatham, MA on Cape Cod. Chatham is 1.5 hours from Logan Airport in Boston and about 4.5 hrs. from New York City; which makes it easy to get to. On a recent trip to Chatham this spring, I got the chance to tour the property and experience all that the property has to offer!
Chatham has 26 different room categories and they are all surprisingly different. Their spa was great- they have a private spa pool and hot tub which is Adult Only. The spa makes for a great Romantic Getaway, girls trip or even a bachelorette trip. Located around the spa are Spa Suites which give you full access to the private pool/hot tub and makes it easy to have in-room treatments.
The hotel has a great 10 acre farm where they grow all of the vegetables used at the hotel restaurants located about 5 minutes from the hotel. This is a great plus because you know what you are eating is fresh; all of their fish and shellfish is bought locally
as well.
I’ve now stayed at Chatham twice and both times, got a private cottage. The first cottage I stayed had a beautiful ocean view with a private porch out the front. The last time I stayed there my cottage was set back a little on the property near the golf course. This cottage was especially nice because it had a private yard and back porch which was great for our dog (It would be great for anyone with kids too!) Chatham is VERY dog friendly.. my dog has gone with me both times and has received her very own Dog Amenities (dog bed, treats, toy, water, poop bags, and water bowls).
While there, you can test drive your choice of a brand new Lexus- after doing so they will get a voucher towards the purchase of a new one. They are also hoping to get couple more Lexus SUV’s and stock them with paddle boards, picnic baskets, etc. for the summer so families can take them for the day and go exploring.
This property truly has it all. Whether you are vacationing with family, going on a weekend getaway or getting married- there is something for everyone!
